Jie and I volunteered at the Grace Hopper Conference a week ago or so. Here we are at the HP party greeting guests and stamping their "treasure maps". (It was kind of a party scavenger hunt with lots of goodies.) The theme of the HP party was "Dinner at the Movies" so here we are with Shrek headbands eating popcorn, hotdogs, and candy. Definitely a well rounded meal!

I'm trying to get my doctorate in Computer Science, but I sometimes find myself daydreaming about being a personal chef/caterer, a world traveler, or a scuba dive master.

Ana really likes the set of ears you brought back for her. She doesn't really like wearing them herself. She gets a kick out of putting them on Lidia and I. I guess she figures that we're the ogres ruining her fun time making messes every day.
Ha! She does have a point...
